FLOW GLOW "FG ROADSTER" Music Video

Five members come together on the streets of Harajuku at night. As they gather around their custom vehicle and begin to cypher, the city starts responding to their voices and performances—graffiti emerges, different cultures begin to take root, and the streets gradually transform around them. Set against the real Harajuku of 2024, we wanted to portray them not simply as characters stepping out of the virtual world, but as a presence capable of reshaping reality itself. The entire city begins to feel alive, evolving into a chaotic digital landscape where a new kind of “Vibes” is born.

From a Cool Night to a Chaotic Dawn

The story begins in a cool nighttime Harajuku with a slightly strange, distinctly Asian atmosphere. As the performance builds, graffiti, architecture, and objects inspired by different cultures begin to take over the city, gradually increasing the density of color and visual information.

Bringing the Feel of Live-Action Music Videos into Animation

Although the performers are virtual characters, we approached the cinematography with the energy and attitude of a live-action hip-hop music video. Extreme close-ups, expressive poses, and dynamic camera angles were used to emphasize each member’s individuality throughout their verses. We also used puppet animation to synchronize subtle movements closely with the beat, connecting the flow of the rap with the movement of the characters. The aim was to create animation that feels rhythmic and physically satisfying to watch.
