A Talisman for the Digital Age

We combined the maneki-neko, a traditional Japanese symbol of good fortune and prosperity, with the visual language of trading cards, another form of culture that has gained global popularity from Japan, to create a new kind of digital talisman. By bringing together the joy of collecting trading cards with the collectible nature of NFTs, we aimed to create designs that people would naturally want to collect.
